Katoomba Excursion

Katoomba Excursion

Our Katoomba Excursion:

Reported by, Nate Fields, Liam Rose and George Charlwood.

On Friday  the 16th November, the Aborignal students at Austral Public School went for an excursion to Scenic World and the Three Sisters in Katoomba.

When we arrived at the freezing scenic world we had recess and took some photos. We had to wait for the tour guide and it took sometime. He took us to the steepest train in the world and people were screaming.

We hopped on the steepest train in the world at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains. Everyone was shocked because the train was basically vertical. Then we got to see about 25 real scary dinosaurs. We were all terrified of the massive T-Rex. The baby dinos were extremely cute and we played I -Spy along the dino track.

At the end of the tour, we got on the bus and went to the Three Sisters for 8 minutes. Little Grace got a koala bear for being brave on the train and we got back on the bus. Everyone was noisy on the bus but Nate and Liam were playing Hang Man. Finally, we got off the bus and went home.

We had a really great but tiring day.
